About Me
My journey from coding fundamentals to large-scale data engineering.
I've been coding for over five years, beginning my journey in 2020. Initially, I contributed to various university projects, working with Python, Scala, C++, and C. During this time, I developed a strong foundation in programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
As I delved deeper, I discovered my passion for data science, machine learning, and data engineering. I studied optimization, data pipelines, and the art of crafting data products to meet real business needs.
I'm currently working as a Data Scientist III at CloudWalk, where I co-created a model registry, serving, and inference platform that scaled our credit infrastructure from 1 to 20+ models, scoring more than 7 million users. Right now, I'm building the next generation of financial models — a tokenizer for financial events in Rust, pre-training and fine-tuning transformer models on GPU clusters. Previously, I worked at Nubank, contributing to projects that reached more than 100 million customers. My focus is on designing and operating robust ML solutions that drive tangible results.
I'm also pursuing my Master's in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, deepening my expertise in machine learning and AI.
