About Me
My journey from coding fundamentals to large-scale data engineering.
I've been coding for over five years, beginning my journey in 2020. Initially, I contributed to various university projects, working with Python, Scala, C++, and C. During this time, I developed a strong foundation in programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
As I delved deeper, I discovered my passion for data science, machine learning, and data engineering. I studied optimization, data pipelines, and the art of crafting data products to meet real business needs.
I'm currently working as a Data Scientist III (MLOps) at Cloudwalk, the fastest growing fintech in the world, where I create, deploy, and maintain credit models, help build the model deployment platform, and train large language models for finance — building the vocabulary and tokenizer from scratch in Rust. Previously, I worked at Nubank, contributing to projects that reached more than 100 million customers. My focus is on designing and operating robust ML solutions that drive tangible results.
I'm also starting my Master's in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, where I'll deepen my expertise in machine learning and AI.
